How to delete your Bacleo account
You can request deletion from your Bacleo account at any time. Cleanup may take a few minutes. Here is what to do:
1. Open Settings, then go to the Account section. You can go there directly by clicking here: Settings > Account.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the Account section.
3. Click the "Delete Account" button.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Your request is saved once accepted. When cleanup completes, your account and associated app data are permanently removed. If cleanup is interrupted, it remains pending and is retried.
What data gets deleted
When you delete your Bacleo account, we remove everything tied to it from our database. This includes your profile information, your display name, your study progress, your tasks, your settings, your preferences, and any other data stored under your account.
Your app account data cannot be recovered after deletion. Cleo warehouse chats are handled separately as explained below. Minimal deletion-processing records are kept temporarily to complete cleanup and prevent old sessions from recreating data, then removed.
What about Cleo AI tutor conversations
Your Cleo conversations remain unchanged in a separate data warehouse after account deletion. Their stored account identifier no longer points to an active Bacleo account, and your deleted account cannot access its history through the app.
Bacleo does not read or review these retained conversations or use them to identify users.
