AI Accuracy Notice

Last updated: June 17, 2026

Cleo is built to be a helpful study companion, but like any AI system, it can sometimes produce responses that are incorrect, incomplete, or misleading.

Why this happens

This is often called "hallucinating," and it happens because of the current limitations of the AI models behind Cleo. For example, Cleo might not have been trained on the most recent information and can get things wrong when asked about recent events. Cleo can also generate explanations, facts, or examples that sound confident and correct, but are not actually accurate.

Always double-check

You should not treat Cleo as your only source of truth. Always double check anything important, especially before an exam, an assignment, or any situation where getting it wrong actually matters.

Report a bad response

If Cleo gives you a response that seems off, incorrect, or just doesn't sit right, you can hit the thumbs down button below the response. This helps us see where things are going wrong and work on fixing them.
